I was able to enjoy a session with the Huffman family a few weeks ago! Life has been so crazy with life that I haven't been able to stop long enough to blog about it! It was so much fun! I know Kristin because she photographed a wedding I was in, so (no pressure:) she asked me to take her family photos! Avery was a bundle of energy! I only wish I could have half as much energy as he does! Since his mom is a photographer, you could only imagine that he was not all about someone ELSE taking his pictures! I was just trying to get as many family pictures as possible with Avery actually sitting for them! I was worried, but I ended up with some great shots from the day! They were so much fun and I am so lucky to have been able to give them family pictures! Here are a few of my favorites:

Disney 2011
So, aside from our kitchen remodel, we also had a vacation in there! Oh my goodness, it was the best thing ever! Everyone said Lawson was too young to understand or really enjoy it, but let me tell you, this kid LOVED it! It was well worth it. He loved the characters and ran up to them like they were his own. The characters loved him too, they let him just sink down on them like big stuffed animals. It was really magical, not just what the catch phrase is, it's true. Lawson still talks about it to this day! I can't wait to go back. He recognized all things Disney now. I love my kid and love experiencing new things with him. Josh and I could not have asked for a better trip, or son for that matter:) I know this is my photography blog, but hey, I took pictures! So, if you are interested, here ya go!
The Kelleys!
I have been a little out of the loop with my blog! OOPS! I have been crazy busy with Lawson, having our home remodeled, and a vacation! But I am back in the swing of normal life!
On September 10, 2011 Becca and Stephen were married in Murfreesboro! It was such a great day! I think things started out a little bit behind, but all that matters is that they said "I do" in a great way! It was a beautiful day/night for a wedding! The wedding itself was simple yet elegant. Josh was the DJ of the wedding as well as the reception, and that always makes my job so much easier! Ok, enough with the talk of the beautiful day. I want to wish Becca and Stephen nothing but the best in their many years together!
There is so many more pictures that I could post, but there might not be enough room! Becca and Stephen, I hope you enjoyed how I captured your special day and remember me in the future:)

Becca and Stephen
I had the pleasure of photographing Becca and Stephen a couple of weeks ago in Columbia. They are a super sweet couple and great to work with! They were great with letting me try whatever I wanted and Becca quickly discovered my love for doorways:) I also found some great spots in Columbia that I can't wait to use again! I will be taking Becca's bridal portraits next week at Oakland Mansion in Murfreesboro, so I MIGHT be able to show you a sneak peek with just the beautiful bride showing! Becca and Stephen will be getting married on September 10, that is not that far away and I am so excited! This will be the second wedding that my husband and I will be doing together, so that makes their wedding extra special! Keep looking for updates on this great couple! But for now, here is a sneak peek from their engagement shoot:

Lawson Christopher - 18 Months Old
Well, this post is a bit special to me...My little boy!:) If you are not my friend on Facebook, you don't know how much I gush on this kid. He is basically awesome and he will tell you so. (This might have something to do with the fact that he hears it all day every day:) When I knew we were going to be in Knoxville for a friends wedding around the same time he was turning 18 months, I knew just the places I wanted to take him! He was a real trooper and had his first REAL trip to BIG ORANGE COUNTRY. We went to some interesting places on UTK's campus, but then to the state fair grounds to finish up the trip! Anyway, enough about my great, wonderful, awesome, loving, caring, and best kid in the world ;)

Cindy's Sharp Tones Recital 2011
I am so sorry I am so behind on blogs! Life has been busy and I have had the pictures done and sent to the Clients for a while, but I have not updated here or my facebook page! Slacker! :)
In May I had the opportunity to photograph Cindy's Sharp Tones recital in Antioch. She is a great voice teacher and I know quite a few people that have had lessons with her and they sounded great! This recital was amazing! I loved hearing each one of them play and sing. At one point, I found myself singing along just like I was in my car! HAHA! If you ever want to put your child in voice lessons, you really need to get in touch with Cindy Overfield and get them started!

Meet Mr. and Mrs. Rivard!
On May 20, 2011, I photographed my first wedding! I was so stressed, but the day went great! The wedding party was so much fun and I think that always makes a difference. Not only was this my first wedding to photograph, but it was also my first Catholic wedding to attend! It was so neat!
Matt and Lindsey are so great together and I was honored to be a part of their special day. They were so calm and cool no matter what the day threw at them, and that it always impressive! I am so happy for the 2 of them and wish them nothing but the best for many years to come!
Here is a sneak peek from their big day! If you want to see more pictures of my favorites, become a fan of SpareTime Photography on facebook!

Sweet Caraline Turns One!
Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing one of my high school friend's daughters! Caraline will be one at the end of the month, but they wanted to go ahead and have her pictures taken. Caraline is such a sweet little bundle of rolls! I love it! She was so much fun to spend time with and her baby blues are to die for! She, (like most kids her age) could easily be bribed with puffs so we could get her to smile! What would we do without puffs? And at the end of the shoot, we ate cake! Caraline was all about the cake at first, then, realized just how messy she was! Over all, I had too much fun with this sweet girl! Katie, you seem to be doing well and you found a great husband and father in Wes. I am so glad you are happy in life! Thank you for letting me be a part of this important time in your life! Enjoy!

Amanda and Jason Tied the Knot!
Just a few weeks ago I took Amanda and Jason's engagement pictures and saw then how much they loved each other. Friday, April 8, 2011 - Amanda and Jason made things official. It was just the 2 of them and the minister at Ellington Agricultural Center. It might have been one of the best weddings I have ever attended. There was no fuss over hair and makeup, there was no wondering if the groomsman were going to be on time, there was no family drama. It was sweet, simple, and full of love. The minister said the sweetest words about Amanda's son Wyatt and that they were making a family whole for him. I was honored they allowed me to be a part of their day and I wish nothing but the best for them!

Jack's One Year Pictures!
Are all of you tired of pictures of my family? SORRY! :) Today I took Jack's 1 year pictures. He was not in the best mood because we took them so late in the day, but once we got started, he was great!! There should have been a video of all of us trying to get Jack to smile and look at the camera! There were things put on my head and people sitting on me! It was very interesting!
As you know if you have been following my blog, his birthday theme was trains, so we had to find train tracks! I would normally have a fat cupcake waiting at the end of the session, but Jack is not a fan so I thought I would try watermelon...BUT HE DOESN'T LIKE THAT EITHER! HAHA. Josh and I are the picky ones of the family, but Jack has decided he wanted to join us! I was super excited about the way these turned out!

My Jack Turned One!!!
This past week my nephew, Jack, turned one! This year has gone by so fast! I have watched Jack grow up so much and become a little boy that I love dearly! Lawson and Jack have interesting conversations that the rest of us are not privileged enough to take part in. They can now both walk and play and it is so sweet!
Anyway, his birthday party was done in trains and it was so cute! My sister in law did a great job with the decor! Jack did a great job at his party and was a trooper all day! Here are just a few of my favorite pictures from the day! Happy first birthday, Jack! Uncle Josh, Aunt Melissa, and Lawson love you so much! :)
