Becca and Stephen

I had the pleasure of photographing Becca and Stephen a couple of weeks ago in Columbia. They are a super sweet couple and great to work with! They were great with letting me try whatever I wanted and Becca quickly discovered my love for doorways:) I also found some great spots in Columbia that I can't wait to use again! I will be taking Becca's bridal portraits next week at Oakland Mansion in Murfreesboro, so I MIGHT be able to show you a sneak peek with just the beautiful bride showing! Becca and Stephen will be getting married on September 10, that is not that far away and I am so excited! This will be the second wedding that my husband and I will be doing together, so that makes their wedding extra special! Keep looking for updates on this great couple! But for now, here is a sneak peek from their engagement shoot:

Lawson Christopher - 18 Months Old

Well, this post is a bit special to me...My little boy!:) If you are not my friend on Facebook, you don't know how much I gush on this kid. He is basically awesome and he will tell you so. (This might have something to do with the fact that he hears it all day every day:) When I knew we were going to be in Knoxville for a friends wedding around the same time he was turning 18 months, I knew just the places I wanted to take him! He was a real trooper and had his first REAL trip to BIG ORANGE COUNTRY. We went to some interesting places on UTK's campus, but then to the state fair grounds to finish up the trip! Anyway, enough about my great, wonderful, awesome, loving, caring, and best kid in the world ;)
Here is a sample of that shoot:

Cindy's Sharp Tones Recital 2011

I am so sorry I am so behind on blogs! Life has been busy and I have had the pictures done and sent to the Clients for a while, but I have not updated here or my facebook page! Slacker! :)

In May I had the opportunity to photograph Cindy's Sharp Tones recital in Antioch. She is a great voice teacher and I know quite a few people that have had lessons with her and they sounded great! This recital was amazing! I loved hearing each one of them play and sing. At one point, I found myself singing along just like I was in my car! HAHA! If you ever want to put your child in voice lessons, you really need to get in touch with Cindy Overfield and get them started!

Here is a sample of the shots from that night:

Meet Mr. and Mrs. Rivard!

On May 20, 2011, I photographed my first wedding! I was so stressed, but the day went great! The wedding party was so much fun and I think that always makes a difference. Not only was this my first wedding to photograph, but it was also my first Catholic wedding to attend! It was so neat!
Matt and Lindsey are so great together and I was honored to be a part of their special day. They were so calm and cool no matter what the day threw at them, and that it always impressive! I am so happy for the 2 of them and wish them nothing but the best for many years to come!
Here is a sneak peek from their big day! If you want to see more pictures of my favorites, become a fan of SpareTime Photography on facebook!

Sweet Caraline Turns One!

Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing one of my high school friend's daughters! Caraline will be one at the end of the month, but they wanted to go ahead and have her pictures taken. Caraline is such a sweet little bundle of rolls! I love it! She was so much fun to spend time with and her baby blues are to die for! She, (like most kids her age) could easily be bribed with puffs so we could get her to smile! What would we do without puffs? And at the end of the shoot, we ate cake! Caraline was all about the cake at first, then, realized just how messy she was! Over all, I had too much fun with this sweet girl! Katie, you seem to be doing well and you found a great husband and father in Wes. I am so glad you are happy in life! Thank you for letting me be a part of this important time in your life! Enjoy!

Amanda and Jason Tied the Knot!

Just a few weeks ago I took Amanda and Jason's engagement pictures and saw then how much they loved each other. Friday, April 8, 2011 - Amanda and Jason made things official. It was just the 2 of them and the minister at Ellington Agricultural Center. It might have been one of the best weddings I have ever attended. There was no fuss over hair and makeup, there was no wondering if the groomsman were going to be on time, there was no family drama. It was sweet, simple, and full of love. The minister said the sweetest words about Amanda's son Wyatt and that they were making a family whole for him. I was honored they allowed me to be a part of their day and I wish nothing but the best for them!

Here is a sample from their beautiful day!

Jack's One Year Pictures!

Are all of you tired of pictures of my family? SORRY! :) Today I took Jack's 1 year pictures. He was not in the best mood because we took them so late in the day, but once we got started, he was great!! There should have been a video of all of us trying to get Jack to smile and look at the camera! There were things put on my head and people sitting on me! It was very interesting!
As you know if you have been following my blog, his birthday theme was trains, so we had to find train tracks! I would normally have a fat cupcake waiting at the end of the session, but Jack is not a fan so I thought I would try watermelon...BUT HE DOESN'T LIKE THAT EITHER! HAHA. Josh and I are the picky ones of the family, but Jack has decided he wanted to join us! I was super excited about the way these turned out!
Here is a sample!
